"We took the famous "normal route", the most popular route to reach the summit. This route took us through the formidable Goûter corridor, a passage known for its rockfalls. After the effort in this rocky section, we reached the Goûter refuge, where a well-deserved short break awaited us. Then, it was in the snow that we resumed our walk, still in a roped party, to finally reach the summit about four hours later."
"Once at the top, the breathtaking panorama rewarded us for our efforts. After fully enjoying this spectacle, we began the descent towards the Tête Rousse refuge to spend the night there. The next day, we returned to Chamonix, before taking the road back to Brussels, with stars in our eyes and memories in our heads.
